Education Qualification for Paper 1 (Class 1 to 5 Primary Teacher)
Applicants must have passed Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with 50% marks and 2 Years Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).
OR
Candidates should have qualified Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 Years of Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
OR
Aspirants must have passed Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2 Years Diploma in Education (Special Education)
OR
Contenders must have a Passed Graduation and a Two-Year Diploma in Elementary Education.
Education Qualification for Paper 1 (Class 5 to 8 Upper Primary Teacher)
Applicants must have qualified Graduation and should have 2 Years of Diploma in Elementary Education.
OR
Aspirants should have passed Graduation with at least 50% marks and 1 Year of bachelor’s in education (B.Ed.)
OR
Contenders have passed Senior Secondary (or it’s equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 Years Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
